MENTORING EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM
JOIN THE COMMUNITY OF OPPORTUNITY
The goal of this program (in coordination with Project PREP – Prisoner Re-Entry Partnership) is to assist newly released individuals attain a greater quality of life and improve the transition back into the community through mentoring partnerships.
The mentoring program allows volunteer mentors to commit to supporting, guiding, and being a friend to an individual previously incarcerated for a period of at least six months. By becoming part of this social network, the mentee can develop and reach positive academic, career, and personal goals. It empowers individuals in our community to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their potential.
