First Time Home Buyer Program Guidelines

In order to qualify for Old Pueblo’s First-Time Home Buyer Program the applicant must meet the following requirements:

1. Gross annual income must be equal to or less than the following.
The income guidelines are:

NUMBER OF PERSONS EQUAL TO OR LESS THAN:
1 Person $29,350
2 Persons $33,500
3 Persons $37,700
4 Persons $41,900
5 Persons $45,250
6 Persons $48,600

Note: For families larger than 6 persons, income guidelines are available upon request.

2. Applicants must purchase a house within the boundaries of the City of Tucson.

3. Applicants must be first-time home buyers, defined as a household who has not owned a home in the last three years.

4. Applicants must have sufficient income and funds for the down payment. It is recommended you have a minimum of $20,000 annual income, and a minimum of $1,500 for a down payment and closing related costs.
