The Old Pueblo Community Services is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to help the poor, homeless, and oppressed in Tucson, Arizona. We have a special interest in helping those who are incarcerated, suffer from addiction issues, and are homeless upon release. Development of social and economic justice programs is a passion of the Old Pueblo Community Services and to accomplish our goals we collaborate with many organizations to fulfill our mission.
We offer many programs that assist our homeless men, women, and families with substance abuse issues. We offer a safe, structured transitional living environment, providing employability and job referral. We supply our residents with clothes, food, bus passes, tools, work boots, bicycles, gas stipends, and refer to health services. All our residents have assigned case managers to help with every need.
We also build new homes for low-income first-time homebuyers, provide housing counseling, and renovate homes for the disabled and elderly.
